To provide a variety of ride experiences we have designated starting points for rides to begin. These locations provide ample parking, are easily accessible from anywhere in the area and usually have a restroom facility and water available. Click on the Location Link to get driving directions Beaver Creek Park: On N. Lake Street, north of Milan Road, south of Rt. 2 Oak Point Road exit in Amherst. Brighton Community Park: On Rt. 511, just north of Route 18 in Brighton. Brownhelm Township Park: Baumhart Road, 1 mile south of Rt. 2, and ½ mile west on North Ridge Road in South Amherst. Burr Oak Park: On Ford Road between West River Road and Gulf Road in Lorain. Carlisle Visitor Center: Diagonal Road, north of Parsons, southwest of Rt. 301 in Lagrange. Columbia Community Park : Corner of West River Road and Rt. 82 in Columbia Station Day’s Dam: E. 31st street, between Grove Avenue and East River Road in Lorain. Duck Pond Park: Diagonal Road in Lagrange, 1/2 mile north of Carlisle Visitor Center Elyria Police Station: West Avenue, just north of Broad Street downtown in Elyria. Equestrian Center: Diagonal Road, north of Parsons in Lagrange, south of Carlisle Visitor Center Findley State Park: Rt. 58, 2.5 miles south of Wellington. Go left inside park, use lot near concession stand and beach. Park map French Creek Nature Center: Colorado Avenue (Rt. 601), east of East River Road in Sheffield, west of Abbe Road French Creek Park: French Creek Road, between East River Road and Abbe Road in Sheffield Gateway Trail Head: west end of 2nd Street, over the bridge. West of Gateway Boulevard in Elyria. Indian Hollow Park: Parsons Road between Indian Hollow Road and downtown Grafton. Kipton Community Park: Rt. 511 north of Rt. 20, at the North Coast Inland Trail in Kipton Lorain County Community College: N. Abbe Road, south of Rt. 254 in Elyria. Use the north parking lot near the tennis courts Mill Hollow Park: North Ridge Road, off Vermilion Road in Vermilion, down in the valley. Use parking lot near Carriage Barn. Missler’s IGA: Main Street (Rt. 58) south side of Oberlin next to McDonald’s New London Reservoir: Take Rt. 162 west through New London, turn left on Energy Street (just past McDonald’s), follow green signs to reservoir park New Russia Township Hall: On Butternut Ridge Road, west of Rt. 58 in New Russia Township North Park: West side of Durkee Road (Elm Street), just North of Novak Road. Or take Novak Road east off Rt. 57 to park entrance in Grafton Oberlin Depot: Across from McDonald’s on Main Street in Oberlin Oberlin Public Library: Main Street about one block south of square, behind city hall and police department Oberlin Reservoir: On Parsons Road at corner of West Road, east of Oberlin Penfield Community Park: Southwest corner of Rt. 18 and Rt. 301 in Penfield. Parking lot is parallel to Rt. 18 Pizza Hut in Oberlin: On the corner of Route 58 and Route 20, south of downtown Oberlin Sandy Ridge: On Otten Road east of Case Road, south off Barres Road in Elyria Schoepfle Gardens: South of Rt. 113, just west of the Vermilion River Bridge, east of Rt. 60 in Vermilion Sherod Park: Lake Road about 1.5 miles west of downtown Vermilion, on lake side of road South Park Recreation Center: 16th Street between Grafton Road (East Avenue) and Middle Avenue in Elyria Spencer Community Park: Route 301, just south of Rt. 162, on the west side of Rt. 301 in Spencer Spencer Lake: Spencer Lake is south east of Wellington. Take rte 58 south past Wellington. Turn east (left) on rte 162. Turn north (left) on River Corner Rd. Spencer Lake will be on the east (right) side of the street. Watch carefully for the sign, it's easy to miss Splash Zone: On Hamilton Road west of Route 58 in Oberlin (across from the Fire Station). Veteran’s Park: At the north end of Rt. 83 , at Lake Road in Avon Lake Wakeman Community Park: On Rt. 20 in the heart of Wakeman, west of Rt. 60 Wellington Community Park: Take Route 18 west from downtown Wellington to Hill St., north to the end. Large park is on the left. Willow Park: On Route 57 south of Parsons Road in Grafton |
